Authority Velocity measures how quickly credibility signals are accumulating. It includes patterns such as AI citations, backlinks, entity relationships, expert references, public mentions, and other indicators that the entity is being treated as a trusted source. Authority tends to build after exposure and discovery begin to move. It often compounds more slowly, but the gains can be more durable because they improve how both humans and machines interpret the entity's reliability.
